What a fabulous summer trip!  Justin, nor I, had ever been to New York, and we wanted to experience the city while we had family there.  My Aunt and Uncle live in Maryland but have an apartment in New Jersey for business trips.  We were lucky enough to stay with the comforts of home in their amazing apartment, and we would drive through the Lincoln tunnel to get to NYC.  It was a short 15 minute drive...what could be more perfect?  I also have two cousins that live in NYC, Hell's Kitchen.  Molly and Justin are both in the theater business and love living the NY lifestyle.  It was great to spend time with them and use their knowledge of the city.  We spent about 5 days roaming the streets of the city and enjoying all that it has to offer.

This is us at the cute little eatery, Serendipity.

The famous Frozen Hot Chocolate

Jusitn's enormous Fudge Sundae

My cousin Justin's fruit cup

We got to see the Yankees BEAT the Phillies!!!

We took the elevator all the way up the 102nd floor of the Empire State Building.
The view was UH-MAZING!!!

This picture was taken during our harbor ferry ride.  We took a 2 hour cruise around the harbor, and we learned a lot about the history of the city and the buildings.  It was by far the best part of our trip.  I highly suggest taking the Cruise Line boat ride.

My mom snapped this great picture of Justin and me while on the ferry ride.  We got to see the Statue of Liberty up close and personal.  So cool!

A little blurry, but this is little Thumbelina, Molly's new dog, that we got to meet while visiting NY.

Our last two days of our vacation, we spent at my aunt and uncle's home in Maryland.  They have a paradise backyard, and Thumbelina and I caught some rays in their beautiful pool.
